Mission Statement

The Carefree Black Boy Project aimed to create spaces where black males can explore themselves without limits, and question the standard ideas around masculinity, sexuality, spirituality, and identity.

The project seeked to support black communities and black artists by dismantling stereotypes surrounding black masculinity through art, constructive discourse, and community initiatives.

The Carefree Black Boy Project was awarded funding three times thorough ArtReach, City of Toronto, and Cultural Hotspot.
